Squirrel Farm provides interior and exterior landscape consultation to residential and commercial customers throughout Oregon and Washington states.

Our organic specialty produce is available to local restaurants and markets, and seasonally through our produce stand located at Squirrel Farm in Troudale, Oregon.

One person - even one with decades of landscape, plant, soil and microclimate experience - can only do so much using conventional farming techniques.

Traditionally, farming, indeed gardening, has been approached as a constant struggle with nature. The first thing I learned when I bought Squirrel Farm in 2003, is that if the vision were to become real I would have to work with Nature rather than against her. At Squirrel Farm, every living thing serves at least three purposes. Every action accomplishes at least three goals. When I make a decision it has to take into account the possible outcomes in three dimensions and across the past, present and future life of the farm.
